Job description
- The position focuses on activities related to the preparation, coordination, and collection of data (e.g., input data for questionnaires and methods)
- Data analysis (with a strong emphasis on the analysis of intensive longitudinal data for those interested in work related to data analysis methods)
- A leading role in writing publications and collaborating on publications by other team members (e.g., research articles for peer-reviewed journals)
- Supervising, coordinating, and managing junior members of the research team (e.g., doctoral students)
- Participation in international meetings and conferences
Qualification requirements – required
- A completed doctoral degree in psychology, kinesiology/kinanthropology, neuroscience, statistics, or another social science or related field relevant to the study of the influence of psychosocial determinants of behavior and digital technologies on well-being, obtained within the last 7 years (maternity/parental leave is not included in this period)
- Interest in eHealth/mHealth or the effects of digital technologies on older adults or other underserved population groups, experience with research on the same or a related topic (i.e., demonstrated by participation in research projects, publications)
- Experience with quantitative research methods and a strong understanding of quantitative methodology (advanced skills in statistical analysis and working with quantitative data, particularly intensive longitudinal data) are a plus

Other requirements:
We are looking for postdoctoral researchers with an interest and experience in one of the following areas:
- mHealth/eHealth – focusing on digital interventions to improve well-being and promote a healthy/active lifestyle
- Health or exercise psychology – focusing on the psychosocial determinants and consequences of physical activity or sedentary behavior
- Data analysis methods – focusing on analytical approaches to intensive longitudinal data, ecological momentary assessment (EMA), or just-in-time adaptive interventions (JITAI)
- The impact of physical activity on cognitive function and brain health
Research level
- R2 – Recognized
The expected form of employment
- 0.5 FTE (with the possibility of increasing the FTE by agreement)
The duration of employment
- Fixed-term employment contract (1 year) with the possibility of extension
The expected start date
- 1 September 2026, or as agreed

- Pay grade in accordance with the OU Internal Pay Regulations
