Spirit Open

The Centre for Visual Studies in cooperation with the Department of Art Education received support for the implementation of the exhibition and socio-cultural project Spirit Open from the Visegrad Fund.

The main topic of this project is the presentation and discourse of contemporary visual art scene that connects three neighboring states – Czechia, Poland, and Slovakia – whose natural part consists of traditional expressions and their multimedia extensions, newly, in a dialog with approaching trends associated with artificial intelligence or, more precisely, with AI Art.

The project will include a Spirit Open exhibition, discussions and roundtables in all three partner institutions in Szczecin (Poland), Ostrava (Czech Republic) and Trnava (Slovakia).

Implementation period: 20/09/2023–31/03/2024
