Centre for Educational Research

The Centre for Educational Research was created as a platform for cooperation among academics involved in educational research at the Faculty. Educational research is a broad field incorporating research into general didactics, subject-specific didactics, special pedagogy, social pedagogy, and educational psychology – as well as research into key issues in contemporary education and pedagogy (digital media in education, university teaching, etc.).

The mission of the Centre is:

to support educational research at the Faculty and to provide a foundation for the future continuity of this research
to raise awareness of the Faculty’s research in this area
to enable colleagues from different departments to work together on interdisciplinary projects incorporating pedagogical, psychological and didactic components
to support members of the Centre in their career development
to lay the foundations enabling the Faculty to open doctoral studies of pedagogy
