Annotation:

The course concentrates on the origin and the introduction to Content and language integrated learning for young learners. Students will understand the meaning and the importance of CLIL. They will get an opportunity to discuss about teaching other subjects in English, its advantages, challenges. They are expected to prepare and present subject lessons in English.

Aims and Objectives:

The student will be able to:

  • explain the importance of the CLIL method
  • discuss advantages and challenges of CLIL
  • prepare a lesson in English
  • use practical classroom language
  • understand the differences between learning styles
  • describe characteristic features of young learners
