Annotation:

TThe course aims to improve students’ movement, rhythmic skills and coordination, as well as to enhance their cultural awareness through different dance styles of the world. Students will learn basic steps from three groups of world dances: Caribbean, Spanish and Oriental, plus short choreographies from each of them. No previous experience with dancing is necessary; special dress and shoes are also not required. All the dancing is single, without a partner.

Requirements:

75 % attendance;
active participation in excercises, study of choreographies;
final presentation in a group.

1.-5. Caribbean dances (salsa, bachata, reggaeton)
6.-9. Spanish dances (sevillanas, flamenco)
10.-12. Oriental dances (bollywood, belly dance)
13. Revision class (all styles)
