  • Examination method: Study of recommended literature and information resources, individual consultation with the tutor, design of a marketing project (seminar paper).

Annotation:

Graduates from the course will achieve an improvement in their functional, information and media literacy and deepen their knowledge of media communication. They will also gain competence for media education and the use of media in education. Parts of the course focus on fundamentals of media studies, the process and models of communication, the impact and influence of media on individuals and society, media education and use of media in education. The student will work on a project comprising a detailed and critical analysis of the influence of media and media communication, a design for a media education lesson and the  use of media and media products in the teaching process.
