Annotation:

This exercise in musical activities consists of singing together by a group of students who love singing. It is designed to improve vocal techniques (breathing, phrasing and interpretation).

The repertoire includes popular, ethnic and folk songs performed with accompaniment (piano) and a cappella (without accompaniment).

Requirements:

Active participation in exercises, study of scores (knowledge of lyrics and melody). Final presentation of the repertoire (singing in a group).

Survey of topics:

  • 1.-3. Vocal warm-up, learning a song (ethnic), understanding the importance of correct breathing and resonance.
  • 4.-6. Vocal warm-up, learning a new song (popular), discovering how your body can affect your voice and your interpretation.
  • 7.-10. Vocal warm-up, learning a new song (folk), vocal technique, pitch, rhythm.
  • 11.-12. Vocal warm-up, repetition of learned songs.
  • 13. Final presentation of the songs learned.
