International Teaching Week – Education in Diverse Learning Contexts
We are pleased to invite our partner institutions to participate in the International Teaching Week: Education in Diverse Learning Contexts. The event is designed as a platform for academic exchange across a wide spectrum of topics related to teacher education and educational sciences.
The International Teaching Week: Education in Diverse Learning Contexts, which will take place from 9 to 13 November 2026.
In parallel with the International Teaching Week programme, the Department of Special Education will host the 13th International Conference entitled Moving Special Education Beyond Established Boundaries, which will take place on 12 November 2026. Participants of the International Teaching Week are warmly invited to attend the conference.
The thematic scope of the Teaching Week has been intentionally structured to encourage participation from academic staff representing diverse disciplinary perspectives within education.
Contributions may address a broad range of topics, including:
- curriculum development and pedagogical approaches
- innovations in teaching and learning
- inclusive and special education
- the use of digital technologies in education
- distance and blended learning
- multicultural and intercultural perspectives in education
- current educational research and project activities
We also welcome contributions focusing on different levels of education:
- early childhood education
- primary education
- secondary education
- higher education
Subject-specific perspectives are equally encouraged, particularly in:
- language education
- science and technology education
- health education
- value-oriented educational contexts
Participants are invited to contribute in a variety of teaching formats, such as: lectures, seminars, workshops, interactive sessions with students.
We particularly encourage sharing examples of good practice, presentations of ongoing research or educational projects, professional exchange with colleagues across partner institutions.
Mobility Framework
Teaching mobility is expected to be facilitated via the Erasmus+ programme.
Should there be any organisational arrangements beyond the standard Erasmus+ framework, participants will be informed accordingly once confirmed.
