Aims and objectives:

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with a fundamental knowledge of individual and team skills, the rules of football and the methodological techniques for coaching and practising basic individual skills and team moves.

Topics of lectures:

  • Introduction to the course, diagnostic test to determine skill level of students
  • Basic individual skills - passing, ball control
  • Basic individual skills - headed passes, running with the ball, passing an opponent
  • Practice of basic individual skills in a game setting, explanation of rules
  • Basic individual skills - defensive play
  • Shooting, tackling
  • Goalkeeping, attacking moves
  • Drills for football training
  • Practice of attacking moves - controlled drill
  • Defensive systems
  • Team tournament (organized by students)
  • Team tournament (organized by students)
  • Final diagnostic test

Requirements for students:

Evaluation:

  • Total number of points = 100.
  • Course credits will be awarded for at least 51 points.
  • Participation in seminars 80% (sports kit, footwear - active practice) - 40 points.
  • Seminar presentation in practice sessions - 1-30 points.
  • Presentation of a portfolio of games - 1-30 points.
