About the Department of Education and Adult Education

The Department provides professional training for students of teacher training programmes studying at the Pedagogical Faculty, the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Science. The Department offers the full-time Bachelor degree in Pedagogy (part of the degree programme Specialization in Education), the full-time Master’s degree in Teaching of Pedagogy (from the degree programme Secondary School Teaching) and the part-distance Bachelor degree in Andragogy (degree programme Pedagogy). The Department staff are involved in a wide range of research and other projects. The Department also provides professional training for current teachers as part of lifelong education programmes.
